Charter Work Experience

Sourcing quality work placements for young people in Northern Ireland

Charter offers a centralised database matching service to employers and schools for work experience, placing thousands of students each year.  Charter also takes the strain of sourcing and providing necessary insurance indemnities, job descriptions and risk assessments.  Excellent communication ensures that everyone involved—students, teachers, parents and employers—get real peace of mind

Working with Year 11 to Year 14 post-primary school students, Charter ensures fairness and equality of access and work experience opportunities for all.  Working closely with employers ensures students' vocational interests and career choices are matched in their work placement.

What does Charter offer Schools?
We act as a 'one stop shop' that allows careers teachers to request more than one work placement at a time.  Students should ask their careers teachers to contact us on their behalf.

What does Charter offer Employers?
Charter relieves employers of the administrative burden of work experience.  We ensure that work experience is hassle free and that the right student is matched to the right placement.

"Working with Charter significantly reduces the administrative burden on us as an employer, which is just one reason we've enjoyed a successful partnership with Charter for many years"
